Today is the start of my high school 35th reunion. I thought this would be a good day to reflect on how much technology has changed. The computer class at my high school was only offered to an elite few. Since it was a prep school, the people who were allowed to be around the computer were a few out of many possible students. I was not one of those select few. Interesting how that works out. I don't believe any of the people in that first computer class went on into computer technology. The math teacher tried to influence her students but it looks like she had no real influence.

Of course there computer technology career people in my old high school class. They just weren't the chosen ones. Reflecting on that, I realize a lot of people did not go into the careers that they had planned on. The magic crystal ball our counselors used on us were obviously defective.
